Different methods of extracting essential oil 

There are various essential oil-extracting methods such as:

• The cold press process is a process in which pressure is been needed to separate the fibers parts of the vegetables, seeds nuts, and fruits from plant oil or juice by hydraulic press. It is also recognized as the expression method.

• Steam distillation process-  It is a bifurcation process which is the purifying the water with other volatile and non-volatile components. The steam produced by boiling water transports the volatiles to a condenser. Then the liquid is left to cool and the boiling container is retained with the non-volatile portion.

• CO2 extraction is a three-step process. The first step is to flood the plant material with CO2. This step is done at a temperature below the point of decarboxylation, which is when THC becomes active. The second step is to let the CO2 and plant material sit for a period of time so that the CO2 can extract the desired compounds from the plant material. The third and final step is to evaporate the CO2, which leaves behind the desired compounds.
